Public Speaking Coaching 

Half Hour Consultation: No charge

Introductory Package: $600

• Includes three hour-long sessions by phone** or in person, unlimited e-mail and phone access during coaching period, and travel within 60 miles round trip.
• In-person packages include videotaping.
• Travel outside Santa Barbara County incurs a small mileage charge.

Introductory Package + PowerPoint Design (see below): $1080

Mentor Package (one person only): 

• If you anticipate regular speaking opportunities and want to have the option of continually building your skills and confidence, and you want to have a trusty guide on call for every presentation, this package is for you! 
• Includes unlimited coaching sessions, unlimited e-mail and phone access, videotaping, and travel within 60 miles round trip.

6 month package: $5,500

1 year package: $9,500

Details: I offer a 30-minute consultation at no charge, where we will meet to determine what your needs are and how I might be able to help. There is no commitment required at this point. 

I ask all new clients to fill out a brief questionnaire, which helps me learn more about you, your strengths, your challenges, your expectations for the coaching relationship, and the results you are seeking. Most of all, I will want to know how committed you are to working for change.

We'll get to know each other a little bit in this first meeting; if it looks like we're a good fit, then the next step is to begin the coaching process.

Coaching fees are due before or at the first session. Check, cash, PayPal or credit cards are accepted.

** International clients must have a landline or an Internet connection with Skype.

E-Coaching - 30, 60 or 90 days

Do you feel pretty comfortable with presenting, but need some quick tips, feedback or a sounding board for your upcoming speaking engagements?

Is it hard for you to schedule regular appointments because of your life and work commitments?

Are you just starting out as a speaker and need a lot of basic questions answered?

This is the program for you!

No phone consultation necessary -- just register for your spot below and we'll get started right away! I'll send you a questionnaire to fill out so I have an idea of what your challenges, strengths and goals are, and we'll take it from there.

It's a pretty straightforward program: You may send me one question per day by e-mail or instant message, and I'll answer the same day, as long as I get your question by noon PST (except for weekends, holidays, vacations, or days when I'm on the road or out of the office at speaking engagements -- then I will answer your question as soon as possible the next business day). 

I'm on the west coast, so if you're in a different time zone, you may hear from me after business hours.

Please keep your questions simple, straightforward, focused and realistic. For example, "How does one overcome fear of speaking?" is much too general to answer in one e-mail.

PowerPoint Design

Does your PowerPoint need pep? Are your bullet points blah? Is your layout lackluster? Are your slides so-so? I offer the following services to start your presentation on the road to recovery:

• Presentation consulting and evaluation
• PowerPoint design and layout
• Sourcing of images

I use an innovative approach that eliminates bullet points and brings your story to the forefront. We will work as a team to integrate the most effective text and images to present a clear, concise and engaging message for your audience. View some of my work.

Fee includes initial consultation and story template guidance, design and layout, and image sourcing.

Rates are based on a turnaround time of five business days. Rush charges of 25% will incur for faster turnaround requests.

A nonrefundable 50% deposit is required at time of order.

PowerPoint design: $750

Group Coaching - Public or Private

More affordable than individual coaching; more personalized than a class!

Public speaking group coaching is a six-week speaking/presentation focused program, with an emphasis on building skills and confidence. The small group size (6-8 participants) is small enough to be intimate and flexible, and the group's feedback on topics and issues is an important part of this format.

Group coaching fees are due at the beginning of the six-week program, by check or PayPal, and include coaching, videotaping, materials, resources and handouts.

** Contact me for corporate and nonprofit group rates, as they may vary from those offered to the public, depending on your company's needs. Group coaching is available for corporate and nonprofit groups in the Santa Barbara, Ventura, San Luis Obispo and Los Angeles County areas.

Group Mini-coaching - Private

An affordable way to provide individual public speaking coaching for your staff that doesn't require a full or even half day of your time.

Just designate a space where I can set up shop for the day. Then schedule your staff for 15-minute to one-hour time slots.

I can work with your employees on any public speaking issues they like, whether it's structuring a new presentation, refining an existing one, answering general public speaking questions or anything else they'd like help with.

Half day (up to 3 hours): $1,000

Full day (3-6 hours): $2,000

Presentation Review

I am available to sit in on one of your presentations for evaluation, then meet for a one-on-one coaching session to provide an assessment and suggestions for improvement.

This is an efficient way to get some quick tips and valuable feedback for your development as a successful speaker.

One-hour presentation plus coaching: $320 (plus videotaping $450)

Half day plus coaching (3 hours): $900 (plus videotaping $1,200)

Full day plus coaching (6 hours): $1,800 (plus videotaping $2,200)

Surcharge of $100 per additional presenter to be reviewed.

DVD Review

Send me a DVD of your presentation (or upload it to the web), and I will review in detail your strengths and challenges and provide constructive feedback for improvement and more effective delivery. 

This is a stand-alone service that is offered to clients who are not participating in a coaching package.

Single presentation up to 1 hour: $200

Travel expenses outside of the Santa Barbara area (beyond 60 miles round trip) will be invoiced separately at $.55.5/mile.

Payment

• I accept personal checks and electronic payments.
• Payment for coaching sessions and presentations is due at the first session. 
• 50% deposit is required for PowerPoint Design orders; client will be invoiced for remainder when work is completed.
